The Whitley County Sheriff's Department is investigating a home invasion that happened early Monday morning on Dantley Drive in Corbin.

21-year old Mickella Scott told police that around 5:40a.m., she heard a noise at her back door. When she got up to investigate, she says two men kicked in the back door. Scott say one man grabbed her by the throat and told her not to scream or he would 'blow her brains out.' That man was armed with a pistol.

According to deputies, the other man asked where her boyfriend was and then went into the bedroom where he confronted Scott's boyfriend, 31-year old Nicholas Burton. The intruder struck Burton with the butt of pistol, put the gun to his head and demanded money. The other intruder used a stun gun on Burton's side, causing Burton to fall to the floor.

Scott was able to escape the home and call 911.

The victims recognized one suspect. The other subject was wearing a ski mask.

The Whitley County Sheriff's Department is asking for help from the public to locate 21-year old Dustin L. Skinner. He'll be charged with Robbery 1st degree and Wanton Endangerment 1st degree. Skinner is a white male, approximately five foot ten inches tall, weighing 163 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair.

Anyone with information about Skinner is ask to contact the Whitley County Sheriff's Department at (606)549-6006 or (606)546-6017.
