The change to complete snow continues to work southward across Kentucky. Snow rates will come in around 1" to 2" per hour. Those rates could be even higher under some of the more intense bands.
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - "I just love the atmosphere, I love Kentucky basketball and go Cats!" says Taylor Davis, a UK fan.
Another fan, Heather Grant, says, "I'm a Kentucky fan, but I'm a bigger Florida fan. Go Gators!"
The Cats are set to take on the Gators Saturday night, but that morning fans were already pumped up 12 hours before game time. This is the fifth time Rupp Arena has played host to College GameDay, so for many Cats fans, this isn't their first experience.
"I came two years ago and four years ago, I believe," says Katie Templin, who's no stranger to cheering at College GameDays.
"I came here last year for the first time and it was an awesome experience," Davis says. "Just seeing Jay Bilas and the guys, Coach Cal and the players, it's just a cool experience."
While some enjoy getting a look at the ESPN show from behind the scenes, others have found long lasting friendships that started with their love for the cats.
A group that calls themselves the 'Sister Cats' explains how they met, "Actually from GameDay a few years ago. Sarah and Katie and there are four or five other girls. We all met on twitter. Then we met in person down here and it's been a friendship ever since."
The ESPN crews certainly drew a big crowd Saturday morning, but the Wildcat players are sure to see more of the Big Blue Nation by tip off Saturday night.
The game will start at 9:00 p.m. on ESPN.
