LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Police are looking for the man they say broke into a bakery and stole a safe.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. Thursday, at Great Harvest Bread Company, in the Palomar shopping center.

Lexington police say the man forced his way in through a back door. Once inside, the owners say he used a chair to break-out an office window, where he stole the safe. But the owners of the bakery said there was no money inside the safe, only a few papers.

Police say the suspect was wearing blue jeans and a red hoodie, and may have left the scene in a red Ford Taurus.
