A dynamic system will cross the state over the next few days and deliver another big rain event. This could cause flash flooding across parts of the state.
Snow showers and breezy conditions continue for today. Winter Weather Advisories for the southeast last through early afternoon as we could see another inch or so accumulate mainly on grassy areas. Winter Storm Warnings lasting through tonight for the extreme southeastern zones. This warning is mainly for the higher elevations where you could see 2"-4" more inches in that region. Lower amounts for the lower elevations in the designated regions. Our highs today will settle just above freezing, so we could see a mix later on during the day. Snow showers begin to taper off through the night, but there is a slight chance of snow on Wednesday for mainly east of I-75.
Going into Thursday and through the weekend we will start to see drier conditions as this pesky system scoots away. Highs on Thursday will be in the 40s, but come Friday and into the weekend we are looking at the 50s with even the possibility at seeing a few 60s on the map Saturday afternoon. A few showers creep in during the day Sunday, which couldn't have come at a worse time since many of us will be Easter egg hunting...
