WASHINGTON (AP) - More Americans likely filed for unemployment benefits last week.

Economists surveyed by the firm FactSet predict that when the Labor Department releases figures later this morning, they'll show that weekly applications rose by 7,000 to a seasonally adjusted 370,000.

Weekly applications have fluctuated between 360,000 and 390,000 since January, but economists say because of last week's East Coast superstorm, more people were temporarily out of work.
