Scattered showers and thunderstorms have rolled back into parts of the region. These will stick around for the next few days as southwesterly winds funnel moisture our way.
High temps will warm into the upper 70s to around 80 degrees for both Thursday and Friday.
A slow moving storm system will roll in over the upcoming weekend. This will bring an increasing threat for showers and storms from late Saturday into Sunday. The rain chance may hang around into Monday if a tropical system from the gulf gets into the mix.
Much cooler air is likely for late weekend and early next week.
