Sunshine and temps in the 70s greeted most folks out there on Thursday. Just a truly nice Spring day. As we move closer to the weekend showers and storms will return.
A frontal boundary will drift in here for Friday. There will be enough moisture available to fire off some scattered showers and thunderstorms. The front won't have much impact on temperatures. As a matter of fact we'll be even better off by Saturday with highs in the mid and upper 70s.
A little taste of summer comes rolling into Kentucky for Sunday. Many areas will likely hit or jump just above the 80 degree mark. Factor in just a little humidity and we are talking about somewhat of a summer feel.
Overall it should be a fantastic weekend for you to head out to Keeneland or just sit on your back porch and enjoy the weather.
A much stronger system arrives early next week. This has a much stronger look to it. We could even see some stronger activity roll into our area.
We'll keep you up-to-date!
