Scattered showers and storms continue to push across central and eastern Kentucky. This action will continue to be around through tonight into Friday.
That's when a cold front moves our way with an increase in coverage of the storms. With so much moisture for these storms to work with, heavy rainfall is likely with the boomers.
A few of the storms through early Saturday could be strong.
High temps on Friday and Saturday will be back into the mid and upper 80s.
We may see the storms take a break on Sunday as slightly cooler air moves in. Those storms won't be too far away and will surge back in early next week. That's when temps spike back into the upper 80s for a few days.
