July is wrapping up with temperatures running cooler than normal. This has been a very cool month across central and eastern Kentucky with many areas running 2 to 4 degrees below normal.
August looks to start with temps between 80 and 85 with a mix of sun and clouds and a few scattered showers and storms. This action will increase a bit as we head into the weekend. Highs should continue to run from 80-85 degrees.
Temps look to stay in the 80s for highs into the first half of next week. Each day could feature a stray shower or thunderstorm. A better chance for storms will arrive by the end of the week.
