Warm and steamy air continues across central and eastern Kentucky for the rest of the east. Something new will join the summer party... a few storms. These boomers will be rather scattered, but could be on the strong side for areas getting in on the action.
Highs will top out in the upper 80s to near 90 on any given day into the holiday weekend. Lows will be in the upper 60s to around 70.
A cold front will arrive on Labor day and give us a much better threat for showers and storms. This will also knock our temps way down by the middle of next week.
