Bands of light snow are working across the region. These can put down some light accumulations on the grass and elevated surfaces.
Warmer and more humid air is slowly working into the bluegrass state. This air will really dig in over the next few days and carry us into the coming weekend.
The air will be tropical in nature and that will lead to afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms going up. Any storm that goes up during this time will be slow moving and have the potential to dump a lot of rain.
Highs this weekend into early next week will be in the mid and upper 80s with an outside shot at a 90.
