LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A school bus full of middle school students overturned when it was hit by a car in southwest Louisville, but no students were seriously injured.

Louisville police say the bus was headed to Frost Middle around 7 a.m. Friday when a Mustang skidded on the wet road and struck the bus at an intersection. Police spokeswoman Carey Klain says the impact caused the bus to overturn. Klain says the bus was southbound and the car was going west.

All 47 children on the bus were transported to hospitals with minor injuries. Police say two teenagers in the Mustang were taken to Kosair Children's Hospital with minor injuries.

Multiple emergency workers and police were called to the scene after the crash to help pull the children from the overturned bus.
