School leader says Inez Middle School was vandalized

INEZ, Ky. (WKYT) -- An eastern Kentucky school will be open tomorrow, after leaders there say it was vandalized.

A superintendent with the Inez Middle School says they found the school with many items misplaced, wax on the gym floor was torn up, a vending machine was broken into.

The superintendent tells us he believes it happened either Thursday or Friday while the school was out due to sickness.

There was word school would be canceled for tomorrow, but we're told classes will go on as scheduled.

No one has been arrested.
