Search for missing Menifee County woman ends

MENIFEE COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A woman, who has was missing for several hours, was found alive.

Multiple agencies took part in the search for the woman, who went missing overnight.

Menifee County dispatch said the search took place in the Rothwell Hill area, along U.S. 460. That area is located between Frenchburg and Means.

Dispatchers tell WKYT the 36 year-old woman was last seen at a family member's house around three Wednesday morning. Officials were concerned because the woman was barefoot and only wearing jeans and a t-shirt.

Rescue crews located her just after 11:30 Wednesday morning. Dispatchers say she was alive and well.
