SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - We're tracking the search for a man wanted in a credit card fraud case. The Scott County Sheriff's Office posted information about the case on their Facebook page. Investigators say a man duplicated credit cards used at several local stores during the July Fourth holiday weekend. They say he created so-called "ghost cards." Those are blank cards with the stolen account numbers programmed to them. Investigators say he then used the duplicate cards as his own. Some of his recent purchases have been in the New Jersey area. Investigators are asking people to carefully monitor their bank and credit card statements.
