LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Police have arrested a second person in connection with a deadly shooting outside a nursing home.

Court documents show Lexington police have charged Delvegio Lax, 29, with criminal facilitation to murder. WKYT has learned Lax's arrest is in connection with the murder of Anthony Beaumont, Jr., who was shot and killed in October on Trent Boulevard.

Police have already charged Maurice Ward with Beaumont's murder. Ward's case has been sent to a grand jury.

During a preliminary hearing for Ward, the Herald-Leader reports Lexington police testified witnesses saw Ward leave the shooting scene with Lax. Police now say Lax "knowingly provided a co-defendant with the means and opportunity to commit murder," and "provided transportation to co-defendant in leaving the scene of the murder."

Lax will be arraigned Thursday afternoon.
