Second furlough day set for Kentucky courts

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WKYT) - It's going to be an extended holiday weekend for hundreds of Kentucky court employees.

A second state-imposed furlough day is set for Tuesday.

The judicial branch says the closures will help it make up for $25 Million in budget cuts because of the challenging economy.

Another furlough day is scheduled for October 15th.
