LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A second person now faces charges in a Lexington murder case.
Police charged 24-year-old Latasha Parks with facilitation to commit murder. According to an arrest citation, the charges are related to a homicide on May 25th. That's the same day police say Jered Taylor was shot to death outside a home on Carver Road.
Lexington Police testified in court earlier this month that someone had beaten and bound Taylor with duct tape. Taylor, they say, managed to break free and jump out of a window. As he tried to get away, a witness told police two people shot at Taylor.
Police arrested Darryl Stewart for the murder. His case is waived to the grand jury.
Parks will be arraigned this afternoon.
