LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Police have arrested a second person accused of abusing two young children.
In early September, WKYT told you about the arrest of Tanya Johnson in Lexington's Coolavin Park.
Police say she seriously injured her 3 & 6-year-old son's, sending them both to UK Hospital.
On Tuesday, WKYT learned police have also arrested her boyfriend, Joseph Harney.
Court records show the young boys and their mother told police that Harney repeatedly beat the boys with a belt, causing numerous bruises.
Harney is now charged with criminal abuse of a child and is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday afternoon.
