LEBANON, Ky. (WKYT) - Kentucky State Police have arrested a second suspect in a southern Kentucky murder case.

State Police have charged William Rigdon, 27, with the murder of Wendell Pyles.

Pyles was found shot to death in late September outside the Tarter Gate Company in Casey County.

Police have also charged David Salyers with complicity to commit murder in Pyles' death.

The Advocate-Messenger reports Salyers told investigators he drove the person who shot Pyles to Tarter Gate and that the murder had to do with a debt.

WKYT has uncovered some disturbing details about Rigdon's past. His estranged wife, Kara Rigdon, has been missing since July of 2010. She was last seen near her Marion County home.

While Rigdon has not officially been named a suspect in his wife's disappearance, he has been arrested several times since. Once in 2010 for possession of a forged instrument, and most recently in May for terroristic threatening and wanton endangerment charges.

State police say they continue to follow up on leads about Kara Rigdon's disappearance.

There's a $10,000 reward for information about her whereabouts.
