Second victim of Berea shooting speaks out

For the first time we're hearing from the survivor of a double shooting in Madison county two weeks ago.

Investigators say last month, Matthew Denholm shot Zachary Flower and Kevin Price inside an apartment in Berea. Denholm was arrested in Louisville shortly after the crime.

Zachary Flower was killed and Kevin Price was taken to UK hospital with serious injuries. Today, Price talked to us by phone about his recovery and the Food Tour benefit concert they have planned for Friday night at Two Keys.

"Our group, Strange Tang, has been planning this event for weeks, and now even more than ever its important the event goes off with a bang" explains Price. "Zachary was all about giving back to his community and that was what this event is about. We want to entertain people with our musical lyrics but raise food for kids in need as well." Price says Flower's death has motivated both him and and fellow group member Marcus Leslie to keep Flower's vision alive. "He'll definitely live on long past any of us ... no doubt about it cause I'm not going to stop saying his name."

This isn't the groups first Food Tour however it will be the first one without Flower. "Zachary Flower is a legend he is going to be a legend. People don't live forever but legends do. I should be dead right now but I'm alive because of Zachary Flower."

The Food Tour will be at Two Keys tomorrow in Lexington. The event will start at 9-PM.

They ask that you bring one non-perishable food item or a toy for a tot.
