WOODFORD COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Traffic moved slowly on the Blue Grass Parkway on Monday morning. Emergency management officials say slick roads caused a semi to lose control and jackknife, hitting a bridge along the roadway.

We're told 30-40 gallons of diesel fuel spilled from the truck. State environmental protection workers were called in to clean it up.

Officials were also concerned about the structural integrity of the bridge the truck hit. Inspectors were called in to look at it.

Officials say the truck driver was injured, but conscious and talking when they took him to the hospital.
