Storms continue to develop across our region. This action will dump additional heavy rains that can cause flash flooding.
A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH is out until 11pm for the southern half of the region. This watch includes the cities of Richmond, London, Somerset, Jackson and Pikeville.
Rounds of strong and severe storms continue to work across central and eastern Kentucky through the evening. Damaging winds, small hail and isolated tornadoes are possible.
These storms will also contain a tremendous amount of rain and lightning.
The cold front responsible for the storms will move through here later tonight. That will bring the return of sunshine for Tuesday as temps hit the 80s.
