A heavy rainmaker is set to move into our region later today. The bulk of the heaviest rain is overnight into tomorrow with a Flash Flood Watch in effect.
Isolated thunderstorms will be possible through the evening hours. Better chances of showers and thunderstorms during the overnight hours.
The severe weather chances will increase as we head into your Monday. This will likely come in two different waves. We'll have morning storms that could pack a punch. These could produce gusty winds and hail.
The next round arrives during the evening on Monday. That round might have even more potential. We'll watch it very closely for even tornadic activity. Through this event you will see quiet periods and then storms will ramp up again. Just because you aren't seeing anything going on in your are doesn't mean it is over.
More round of stronger storms will roll through again on Tuesday. Just like the Monday batch, it could feature some stronger storms as well.
We are declaring Monday as First Alert Severe Weather Day.
