SHELBY COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) -- A woman faces charges Thursday after police say she abused a child.
State police arrested Samantha Holt, 22, Thursday morning.
Wednesday they say they found an injured two-year-old child at a home on Eminence Pike in Shelby County.
The child had to be taken to Kosair Hospital in Louisville. There's no word on the child's condition.
Police charged Holt with first degree criminal abuse.
