Rain and a mix continues to work into eastern Kentucky as temps drop into the 30S. The next round of mix and snow slides in late this evening into tonight from the northwest.
We're wrapping up another very cool day across the bluegrass state. That has been a common theme over the past week or so. The cooler than normal weather will continue over the next few days... with a price.
Showers and thunderstorms are rolling into central and eastern Kentucky as low pressure works across the region. Locally heavy rainfall will be likely with some areas picking up more than an inch into Wednesday.
The threat for scattered showers and storms will continue into the end of the week and coming weekend.
There is still no sign of anything close to hot weather on the horizon.
