Showers and thunderstorms increasing the next several days

Rain is back in the forecast for the next several days. That will give way to showers and thunderstorms, but no widespread severe weather expected at this time. Today we are looking at hit and miss rain, especially during the afternoon. This won't be a great chance of rain, but the chance is there. The best opportunity for storms will be along the Ohio River Valley during this afternoon. Highs today will be in the upper 70s to lower 80s.

The best chance of rain the next few days will be Friday and Saturday as the front sags around the Ohio River. That will spawn scattered showers and thunderstorms, especially during the afternoon. Any outdoor plans will be best to do during the morning hours.

Going into next week we will be continuing with the warm temperatures with highs in the 70s and 80s. Also, we will have a chance of rain each afternoon with the best chance of storms being on Wednesday.
