The flash flood threat increases late tonight and into Thursday. Rounds of storms may dump a lot of rain across our region.
Showers will continue through most of the day today. There will be times that some of us see just cloudy conditions. These clouds and showers will keep temps down again today. Most areas will only see highs in the low 80s. That's it!
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be a good possibility during the day on Monday and Tuesday. A very typical summer-like pattern.
Temperatures will get their revenge on the area during the week a head. We were treated to a taste of fall this past week. Now, the true heat and humidity of summer will make a solid return to the area. In most cases, we will see highs jump back into the low 90s. Tuesday and Wednesday will likely be the hottest days of the week.
Another potent cold front will roll through the area late in the day on Wednesday. It will trigger more thunderstorms. One of the concerns that I have is the possibility of strong or even severe thunderstorms developing as we make this transition. Highs will crash from around 90 into the upper 70s and low 80s. So another quick shot of cooler air will return.
