Showers on the way for the weekend

Another sunny day is wrapping up across the bluegrass state. Temps warmed into the middle 40s for much of the region. Friday's weather looks similar to what we had to day as thermometers approach 50.
Enjoy it because clouds and showers move back in for the weekend. Temps should still run slightly above normal with readings in the upper 40s to near 50.
Next week looks very active with several rain and snow chances as temps begin to fall.
