A band of heavy rain continues to sink southward into the region. We will have to keep a close eye on this later this evening into tonight. The rest of the forecast remains unchanged with a major winter storm moving in late Wednesday and Thursday.
Cooler than normal weather continues across central and eastern Kentucky. Readings overnight will drop into the upper 50s as clouds increase.
Those clouds will bring an increase in showers from south to north on Friday. Those showers could be heavy at times by the afternoon and evening. That's especially true across the south and east. Highs will be held down into the 70s.
Scattered showers and storms will be around into Saturday as low pressure works our way. This will be a much more humid day with some locally heavy downpours possible.
The threat for scattered storms will be around from Sunday into much of next week as temps warm back into the mid and upper 80s.
