Strong and severe thunderstorms will be possible late tonight. We'll be tracking strong winds, large hail and even a risk of isolated tornadoes.
In some cases we'll track a few showers into the overnight. Most of you will stay on the dry side. The showers and storms will really redevelop on Thursday.
Not a whole changes with the appearance of our 7-Day. Each day will feature a chance of showers and storms. It's all about the wording and those percentages. The coverage toward the end of the week will become much more isolated. This is the kind of rain forecast where maybe a few counties see a decent shower or storm pass and then most of us see nothing. The better chances appear to be in eastern Kentucky this weekend.
Next week the heat will try to crank up quite a bit. Most days will have highs reach the low and mid 80s. You couple that with dewpoint temps closing in on 70 and you have a very uncomfortable fee to the air. Not only that, but plenty of moisture in the air to produce some isolated heavy rain makers.
We are closing in on the official beginning of Summer so days like this are to be expected!
Have a great rest of your Wednesday!
