Six people behind bars after drug busts in Laurel County

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT/WYMT)- Six people are behind bars in connection with several drug busts in Laurel County.

Police tell us they arrested Reynier Ruiz-Pena, 32, and Sherry Brown, 34, at a traffic stop after they found 15. 3 grams of crystal meth and 100 Xanax pills.

Then, police arrested Michael Bruner, 38, at a motel on Sinking Rock Road, after they found 5.7 grams of crystal meth and digital scales.

While officers were at this location, they arrested Bradley Moore, 41, when he arrived at the motel with 6.4 grams of crystal meth.

Later, police arrested Michelle Savage, 40, after finding 5.7 grams of meth and three EBT cards, with the pin numbers on them.

They also charged Nora Bowman, 35, after finding she has .7 grams of meth in her purse.

All subjects are lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
They are all charged with possession of a controlled substance, among other charges.
