A band of heavy rain continues to sink southward into the region. We will have to keep a close eye on this later this evening into tonight. The rest of the forecast remains unchanged with a major winter storm moving in late Wednesday and Thursday.
This just doesn't look like the way we would want to move into the weekend. We are starting off on a wet note and this stretch of sloppy days doesn't stop anytime soon. Showers and storms will be the call today. This will be an all day thing, but it will be on and off.
Heading into the weekend we aren't expecting to see any relief from the rain. Both Saturday and Sunday will feature scattered showers and storms. All in all, these three days from Friday-Sunday could put off 1"-2" of rain for most.
Scattered storms look to continue into the start of next week before a shot of cooler air slide in during midweek.
