Bands of heavy snow are now working through Central Kentucky. By the time this system ends on Thursday some areas will pick up more than 1 foot of snow.
Even with the system moving toward the east we still will have some leftover cloud cover to deal with in our east and southeastern zones. Also, fog will be a player during the morning hours in which should lift as we move toward noon time. We can expect our temperatures to rise to the lower to mid 40s today with mostly sunny skies. A nice, mild upswing in temperatures will be present the next several days. Today through Saturday we remain dry with highs in the 50s and even a few locations on Saturday at 60 degrees. Starting Sunday we will have a few showers, which will continue through next Tuesday.
