Look for storms to increase from the west the rest of the afternoon. Heavy rain, strong winds and lightning are the main threats.
It's been a wet and soggy day to round out the month of August in the Bluegrass state and into September we can expect more wet, warm and humid weather conditions.
We're tracking spotty showers across the state overnight and into Labor Day. While it looks to be a wet holiday, it won't be as widespread in nature as what we saw over the weekend.
After a day where daytime highs were limited by the overcast skies, we'll return to the mid 80s to kick off the week.
