An early taste of winter possible this week

Make sure you enjoy your Monday because it will be the last decent day this week. The sunshine will warm us up into the low and mid 60s. A gorgeous Fall day.

Clouds will begin increasing late in the day. This is happening because we have a front approaching from our northwest. This front will trigger some showers during the overnight hours on Tuesday. It will also bring a punch of cold air into Kentucky. It's also setting us up for the next round.

The third front in less than a week will sweep into Kentucky on Wednesday. This one will run into plenty of cold air thanks to the previous front. The moisture will likely interact with the cold air and we could get some mixed results. Literally... mixed! Falling first will be a chilly rain and then we'll go into more of a mix between rain, sleet, and snow. This isn't a huge deal in the grand scheme of things. It's more of a taste rather than the full meal.
