Our focus now turns to the potential of record lows tonight. Many areas may wake up to thermometer readings below zero.
Early morning showers hang around for the eastern zones, then pushes out of all regions before noon. Clouds will be around for much of the day, but should see some gradual clearing. We need that sunshine because it looks down right chilly today as highs settle in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Friday will be much of the same as our highs will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s, but sunny skies prevail.
Heading into the weekend we will see a warmup with upper 50s on Saturday and mid 50s on Sunday. Both days remain dry with mostly sunny skies.
Let's talk about next week....Another system swings our way during midweek that "could" drop our first accumulating snow of the season. Low confidence since we are so far out, but the chance is there.
