Some milder weather ahead

Posted: Wed 2:08 PM, Mar 06, 2013

Snow continues to pull away from the bluegrass state, but the cold air remains. Readings will only hit the low 30s this afternoon with a few flurries and snow showers.

Roads will continue to have slick spots on them through the overnight hours.

Much better weather is on the way for the next few days as the sun returns and temps slowly warm. Highs will be in the upper 30s Thursday and warm to near 50 by Friday.

Temps this weekend will tickle the 60 degree mark ahead of a cold front that arrives by Monday. That will bring our next chance of rain.
