LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Police say speed played a role in a violent crash on Interstate 75 Monday night.
Lexington Police say a Camaro clipped a semi, then went off the road and down an embankment near the southern split.
The driver had to be cut out of the car.
Police say he went to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
We're told he was driving at more than 100 miles per hour at the time of the crash.
