Arrests made in Danville trailer theft

DANVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - Danville Police say they have arrested two people Thursday in connection with a trailer theft. It happened at Bob Allen Motor Mall's storage facility on Monday at 1:30 a.m.

According to arrest records, Tiara Gooch, 35 and Joseph Caudill, 34, of Stanford are charged with theft and are now in the Boyle County Detention Center.

Danville Police say they were able to locate the Toyota RAV4 that was used in the theft to arrest Gooch and Caudill.

Investigators credit the victim's use of social media to spread the word about the theft, which eventually led to the tip.

Managers at Bob Allen say because of the success of the video exposure, they plan on posting more videos if thieves strike again.

The $3,000 12-foot trailer has not yet been recovered by police.
