LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - According to CoachingSearch.com, Derrick Ansley will be joining the staff of new UK coach Mark Stoops. Ansley, who spent last season at Tennessee, will reportedly coach cornerbacks.

Before going to Tennessee to join Derrick Dooley, Ansley was briefly on the staff at Central Florida. Prior to that he spent two years under Nick Saban at Alabama.

Ansley's two seasons with Alabama included the national championship season of 2011. The Alabama secondary featured three All-Americans in Mark Barron, Dre Kirkpatrick, and DeQuan Menzie, and the Tide defense led the nation in five major categories: total defense, scoring defense, rushing defense, passing defense, and pass efficiency defense.

Ansley played college football at Troy.
