Storm victims say "thank you" to responders

Updated: Fri 8:05 PM, Aug 24, 2012

WEST LIBERTY, Ky. (WKYT) - It was a huge turn out Friday evening at the annual West Liberty fish fry, but this year, the celebration has a special meaning.

It's a way to celebrate Morgan County getting back on its feet, as well as a way to say thank you to all who helped.

The Governor, Hal Rogers and other city and state leaders joined the celebration today.

The governor said he was moved by the outpour of support and help that other Kentucky counties have given West Liberty. Beshear says the cleanup process is pretty much over, and they've now moved on to the rebuilding phase.
