The flash flood threat increases late tonight and into Thursday. Rounds of storms may dump a lot of rain across our region.
Storm chances will be on the increase as we get closer to the weekend. A healthy sug of moisture is working into the region from the southwest and will deliver rounds of showers and storms.
With so much moisture in the air, heavy rainfall will be a good bet over the weekend.
Here's a breakdown of how things play out:
Scattered showers and storms will be around tonight into Friday. Highs Friday will generally run from the mid to upper 80s.
Showers and storms will increase for Saturday and Sunday. Heavy rain is a good bet during this time. Highs will run in the 80s.
Next week starts steamy and stormy with highs in the upper 80s to around 90. A strong cold front may usher in much cooler air for the 4th of July holiday period.
