General showers will be the main action over the next few hours. A few could remain on the strong to severe side in eastern parts of Kentucky.
The threat for severe weather is decreasing rapidly across central and eastern Kentucky. Showers and storms will continue to slowly weaken over the next few hours.
The storms that are out there will still contain heavy rainfall and dangerous lightning.
Much warmer air moves in over the next few days with temps in the mid 80s on Tuesday and near 90 for Wednesday. Booming storms may come calling by late Wednesday into Thursday.
