Snow line is beginning to crash into parts of central Kentucky. The rate of snow will pick-up this evening and into the overnight. Some of these snow bands could produce 1"-2" per hour at times.
The severe weather threat is over for central and eastern Kentucky. A powerful line of storms worked across the state this afternoon and evening. Damaging winds were reported in some areas.
We will still see a scattered shower or storm later tonight into early Thursday as a cold front swings through. Cooler and drier air will filter in behind this front. The weather for the end of Thursday into Friday looks fantastic with highs around 80 with lower humidity levels.
The weekend starts off nice with some scattered storms moving back in by Sunday.
