Storms arrive overnight and into Sunday

While most of Saturday went off without a hitch the wet, stormy weather is well on the way. This wave of energy coming up from the southwest will bring heavy rain, gusty winds and thunderstorms; all of which will push into Sunday.

Expect daytime highs to slide back a bit (the mid to low 80s) as overcast skies reduce the amount of sunshine that we'll see throughout the day. The stormiest portion of the day looks to be the morning into the early afternoon.

While the next several days look to be wet, warm and humid, Sunday continues to be our best chance of rain.

Labory Day looks to be wet too with spotty showers for most of the holiday. While it doesn't look like a washout, the chance is certainly there based on our current setup.
