Showers and thunderstorms will become more scattered as we head into this evening and overnight. These storms will still have the potential to put down heavy rain that can lead to local high water issues.
A cold front works toward the state on Tuesday. This front will bring another round of showers and storms and a few of those could be on the strong side. Much cooler air will then work in behind the front for Wednesday with highs around 80. Lows may drop into the mid and upper 50s.
Showers and storms will return by the end of the week into the weekend as another front moves in. Even cooler air is possible for the weekend and early next week.
