Very slow moving showers and thunderstorms will move into our area overnight and Sunday. The potential for flooding will be heightened in southern and eastern Kentucky.
Showers and thunderstorms continue to rumble across the bluegrass state. This action is ahead of a weak area of low pressure scooting by just to our west. That is helping to aid in the development of widespread storms.
A few strong storms are possible into tonight. High winds and small hail can't be ruled out with the strongest storms. These storms will also put down a lot of water in a short amount of time, so watch water levels. Lightning will also be a big player.
Scattered storms will be around early on Wednesday with some afternoon clearing a good bet. Highs will be in the 80s.
The threat for storms will be with us from Thursday through the upcoming weekend. Daytime highs will generally run in the mid and upper 80s with lows in the 60s.
