Isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible again during the afternoon hours. You throw that in with the heat and humidity and you have yourself a very typical summer day. While Tuesday won't be a washout, any of the storms that develop could produce some heavy rounds of rain.
Rain chances will increase during mid week as a frontal boundary will be swinging across Kentucky. There might even be a stronger storm or two possible during on Thursday.
The front will also bring a big change in the temperature forecast. We'll see highs drop into the low 70s and overnight lows in the 40s. This means we'll see some of the coolest air since Spring.
