Our focus now turns to the potential of record lows tonight. Many areas may wake up to thermometer readings below zero.
It is finally Friday and the best day of the week. There is plenty of sunshine and very comfortable temperatures out there for you. With the humidity levels down, it makes for a really nice run in the weather world.
The humidity levels will stay down into your Saturday as well. The early parts of your day look awesome. However, late in the day we'll begin tracking some showers and storms. The same frontal boundary that swept through and delivered the dry air to our region is sitting just south of the commonwealth. It will begin lifting back across the area Saturday evening/night. We could fire off a few storms at that time.
The best chance arrive on Sunday. It will also feature some more humid air. A front will sweep in and basically park over Kentucky for several days. That means we'll begin track a daily chance of showers and storms. In between storms the old muggy air will begin its invasion... again!
Sunday might even include some stronger storms for our area. Stay with us and we'll keep you up-to-date.
